Delivery Policy

At Be Different Packaging, we strive to deliver your orders efficiently and transparently. Please review our shipping guidelines below.

At Be Different Packaging we ship locally across South Africa and worldwide. Times and prices depend on the shipping method, destination, and cart weight.

1) Processing Times

  • Bottles & Packaging: up to 5 business days before dispatch.

  • Powders & Ingredients: up to 3 business days before dispatch.

Processing excludes weekends and SA public holidays. Peak seasons may add time. Custom branding (when selected) may add production days.

2) Shipping Methods & Typical Transit Times (after dispatch)

  • Express Air: 9–15 days

  • Standard Air (EMS): 10–20 days

  • Sea Freight (best value for larger/bulk orders):

    • USA: 20–30 daysduties, taxes and tariffs included (DDP)

    • All other countries: typically 2–3 monthsduties/taxes charged by destination customs

South Africa domestic courier delivery is in 3-5 days. 

3) Shipping Rates – How they’re Calculated

  • Rates are calculated at checkout based on method, destination and total weight.

  • You’ll see Express Air, Standard Air (EMS) and, for heavier carts, Sea Freight as options.

  • For very large/wholesale orders we may quote a custom sea-freight rate.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

4) Duties, Taxes & Customs

  • USA (Sea Freight only): shipped DDP — we cover duties, taxes and tariffs.

  • All other routes/countries: duties and taxes are not included.

5) Tracking & Delivery Issues

  • A tracking number is emailed/WhatsApped once your order ships.

  • If tracking stalls, or your parcel is delayed or lost, contact us at sales@bedifferentpackaging.com or WhatsApp +27 72 347 3936 with your order number.

6) Address Accuracy & Delivery Attempts

  • Please provide a complete, accurate street address and a reachable phone number.

  • We are not liable for delays or losses caused by incorrect addresses or missed delivery attempts. Re-delivery fees may apply.

7) Split Shipments & Weight Limits

  • Carriers may limit parcel weight. We may split large orders into multiple boxes to meet those limits; you’ll receive tracking for each.

8) Damage or Missing Items

  • Inspect parcels on arrival. Report damage or shortages within 48 hours with photos of the box, labels and items so we can assist quickly.
